Updates and access

Deadlock changes quickly, so this section keeps the practical details together: what each major update changed, how to get into the playtest, how invites work and what Valve has confirmed about platforms and a release date.

What this section answers

  1. Follow the latest patch

Patch notes and update pages summarise City Never Sleeps and earlier releases, including map, hero and system changes.

  2. Get into the playtest

Access, invite and download pages explain the friend-invite route and what the Steam listing currently allows.

  3. Check platform status

Console, Mac and Steam Deck pages state what is verified today instead of treating announcements as releases.
